Diabolical Companies That Scammed Customers With Their Deceptive Products

If you feel like the world is out to get you, you may be right... at least when you go shopping. From little-known brands to top-shelf names, these products ripped off consumers in a totally infuriating way. It doesn't matter if it's food, lotion, or even Lego bricks, everything is capable of being a scam, but luckily, clues can sometimes hide in the packaging.

1. Sticker Stock

At a glance, this sticker book seems like it'll ease a parent's worries on how to occupy their little ones. However, this product shouldn't have been judged by its cover but by its contents...or lack of content. Not all its 1,001 stickers are actually the beloved Disney characters. A whole bunch are just colored squares.

2. Sea Life Danger

Sure, flushable wipes seem like a good idea, especially when you have a baby. But this Tesco brand should probably stay out of the water. They claim that their product is meant to go in the water, but in bold letters on the back, they reveal that their wipes can lead to an ecological disaster.

3. Lotion Recall

For this moisturizer brand, they tried something extra sneaky. It was only after opening the outer package that this customer realized how much they got cheated. The lotion isn't even a full container; instead, it's the size of a lip balm.

4. Always the Same

This Reddit user found out the hard way not to trust dollar-store pens. When they picked up a pack of colored pens, they expected them to have equally colorful ink, not the same color for every single one. On the bright side, at least the blue pen is the right color.
